The "BOND" sleeves housed the 1990 LaserDisc (LD) reissue of the 007 back-catalogue.

The most prominent feature of the sleeve design was the replacing of photographic imagery on the front-sleeve, with artist renderings of Bond-related scenes. Beth Dorfman's art from the earlier Criterion editions of Dr. No and From Russia With Love was incorporated in the art of their BOND-sleeved counterparts.

This range marks the first time, in North America, that gatefold sleeves were used for two-disc 007 titles; and the quality of the sleeves themselves was higher than ever with thicker, more durable, card stock being used.
