In 1997, Periodical & Magazine publisher, Hachette, commenced issuing the contemporary 007 back-catalogue in a magazine+video format (presumably one release per month). The Hachette sleeves used the same key-art as the pre-'baby hands' France series.

Curiously, and confusingly, the volume number printed on the spine corresponded to the order in which Hachette released each title - not the order in which the films themselves were originally made (e.g. Goldfinger, the third produced film is numbered '1' as it was issued with the first volume of the magazine, and Dr. No, the film produced first, was volume '14' on account of it accompanying the 14th edition of the magazine).

As an overall 'experience', the majority of France home-video sleeves are among the best produced anywhere in the world; but the Hachette range is cheap and nasty compared to most France releases.
